SCREAM BLUE

Initially, I saw the blue screen of the WordPress template and fell in love at first sight.

Me, this is Dominik Alexander from Scriptorium ’77 and Exhibition 1977. The first one is my writing blog since 2017, even though I’m writing since 1984 (yes, the actual year, not the book by George Orwell).

The second one is my virtual exhibition blog, launched just a few days ago – also because of a fine WordPress design. And because I always wanted to curate my own exhibition of art.

But what about Scream.Blue?

Well, this is the site I created for NaNoWriMo 2023. Participating since 2011 – every year more or less succesful – I was inspired by the blue screen, thinking: this could work.

So, apart from the Scriptorium, I will use the Blue Scream for short stories, mainly in November 2023. Which means, I’ll try to write a short story of at least 1,666 words every day. That should be a challenge!

Together with the writing, I’m going to give the block style of WordPress a chance to impress me. So far, it has been good. Let’s see where this leads to.
